Create synergy between different stakeholders in Trichy City vis-à-vis Central and State Governments for concrete policy changes and projects for implementation.
Promote the development of Trichy for trade and commerce by linking with national and global markets and attract investments to the city.
Promote ease of living in the city, including enhancing the city’s green cover and bring about awareness about environment protection among all stakeholders.
Promote education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills for children, women, and the differently-abled persons.
Enable, establish, maintain, and grant aid, and take necessary steps for the protection of national heritage, art and culture, and entertainment in the city, as well as the dignity of the citizens.
